US Launches Cruise Missile Attack Against Syria
April 6, 2017
WASHINGTON, DC — The US government initiated strikes against Syria with nearly 60 cruise missiles.
The missiles were launched at a Syrian government airfield, preliminary reports say.
“The missiles hit aircraft and infrastructure including the runway,” reported NBC.
The rationale behind the attack is “retaliation” for the chemical weapons attack earlier this week.
Russia is expected to issue a statement soon.
“Tonight I ordered a targeted military strike on the airfield in Syria from where the chemical attack was launched,” said President Trump from Florida.
The chemical weapons attack is believed by most Americans to be a false flag operation, but the US government disagrees, with President Trump blaming Assad.
Reports about casualties from the strike will be made available as more updates are released.
